Plug this buzzer into the 3-prong epee socket of your electric epee and youre off fencing electrically! Will indicate a buzzing sound for about 2 seconds every time the tip of your epee is pressed (including the opponents guard). Thick metal casing will NOT break or dent easily. Measures about 1.75 wide by 1.5 long by 5/8 thick and weighing only a few ounces, it has a replaceable 12V (model 23A) internal battery. The unit has a small indicator light, too (goes off at the same time as the buzzing sound). Perfect for beginners, clubs, home-based fencers, etc.

This Non-stainless steel lame is perfect for beginners. Why? It does the job and it's inexpensive. It lasts from 1-3 seasons, getting the beginner well into the game without spending past the need. And the savings end up paying for the next one when the beginner outgrows it. Additionally it comes in a variety of dashing colors. For all concerned it is a No Care Lame. No care needed (cannot be washed, only air dried.) Don't care that it's so cheap. Don't care it works so well for 1-3 seasons. Don't care when you have to get a new size or a better one. The back of the hand and cuff is made of polyester and is pleasantly padded to cushion against the occasional thwack of opponent's blade; the glove also boasts a double layer of leather over thumb, forefinger and lower part of the palm where gloves get the most wear. Velcro closure on the cuff allows for custom fit over jacket sleeve and secure pathway for body cord. A fine value, perfect for the first time fencer. Sold individually. Colors vary.
